Paris cycle trip

Time, thats why things take so long to organise.

I don’t know why we put things off and then regret that it’s taken so long.

The Paris ride has been something my brother and I had been meaning to do for so long. I get things get in the way, more important things. But time passes so quickly, so we should really just do these things when we think about them.

It’s the same as all hobbies and activities. Oh, let’s do it next week/month/spring, whatever. So its definitely something that needs to change for me.

We found a few days at the end of last month and the morning came around so quickly.

Gear wise, for some reason I always feel the need to carry a backup camera. But when you’re trying to keep the weight down on the bike, loading up another camera, lens, batteries and so on, realistically, it was a bit OTT. So I decided to just take the X100VI.

Ever since buying the X100VI, the X-T5 has pretty much remained on the shelf.

I picked up a sling bag (Had to find a reason to buy a new bag) as decided it was the best option for easy access with the camera, as well as keeping it from being bashed around on the bike.

I should have taken far more images, but you also want to enjoy the journey too without it becoming a photography trip and slowing everyone down (I’ve decided I need to do a road trip through France by bike on my own with the camera and spend some time exploring).

Enjoy the pictures
